Providing 200W of output power, the Quad 100DFX Head offers real world flexibility through its 2-channel design and 4 preamp modes. The Rhythm channel has 2 preamp choices: Fat and Lean. Each offers a different sonic spin: one tight and sparkling, the other greasy and fat and with more attitude. The Lead channel offers a choice of Grind and Punch. Grind has a modern, high-gain American tone. Punch provides a tighter low-end response and an upper midrange emphasis— a distinctly British flavor.
