The cymbal collection is diversified with splashes, Chinas and accents, while all rides include bell samples. BFD XFL also gives you a selection of kit-oriented percussion hits, including cowbells, jamblocks, tambourines, and even handclaps and fingersnaps.

Some of the new BFD XFL snares have up to 93 velocity layers, offering unparalleled realism and responsiveness. Also featured are incredibly detailed hihats which are equipped with not only the closed, half-open, and open positions of the original BFD, but also quarter-open and 3-quarters-open positions. This makes BFD respond even more naturally, especially when using an electronic drum-pad system.
