This Helix fretless bass comes with the same intriguing body design as the rest of the Helix line, and incorporate DAT-system style control knobs and dual soapbar bass pickups into a quality mahgogany body. This fretless 4-string version also features a laminated, 6-piece, maple and mahogany neck. The dual Alumitone 90's pickups were designed by Jeff Lace himself, and are current driven instead of voltage-based. They provide a broader response with tighter top-end, more mid-range, and a large bottom end, giving you more pop when finger picking and slapping. The tone and volume knobs have 250K pots. The guitar is 34" scale length with a "C" shape neck, rosewood fretboard (15" radius), and heavy-duty chrome bridge and tuners. It also comes with a Red Label Design gig bag.
